This awareness can sometimes allow the dreamer to exert some level of control over the dream’s narrative, characters, and environment. Lucid dreaming has intrigued humans for centuries, often being associated with mystical experiences and creative inspiration.

To achieve lucid dreaming, several techniques can be practiced. One common method is maintaining a dream journal, which involves writing down dreams immediately upon waking. This practice enhances dream recall and helps identify recurring themes or dream signs, which are specific elements or patterns that often appear in one’s dreams. Recognizing these signs can trigger lucidity during a dream.

How to know that you are in a Lucid Dream?

Reality checks are another essential technique. These are simple tests performed during waking hours to differentiate between reality and dreams.
